Grill is the weapons specialist of the Blackout team. If it shoots, fires or cuts he knows how to use it. Grill is an expert with the sword having been trained by Snake Eyes and Kamakura. Grill is also a master of mechanical engineering - he was one of the top engineers who designed an experimental Lunar Tank that was thought to be used for tough lunar terrain. When the Lunar Tank project fell through Grill brought his designs to G.I. Joe knowing that they used all kinds of state of the art and experimental vehicles. The end result was The Beast the unofficial tank for the Blackout team. (The Beast Pictures will be coming soon to Joecustoms) Grill built The Beast using parts from decommissioned Joe vehicles to save G.I. Joe from having to get Government funds for the top secret vehicle for a team that does not exist. Grill is the driver for The Beast as well as its mechanic.
