I have the 6 inch Doctor Strange figure, but I have always wanted a figure that fit in with my custom collection.

I used the body from the silver suited Chap Mei Fireman for another custom, but did not need the head. I was reading a Doctor Strange graphic novel and was struck by how close the head was in style. I painted the hair black with white streaks and painted a mustache on. I had a few spare Depth Charge figures, so I sanded one down and the head fit straight into the neck hole without needing any adjustment. The next two problems were the cape and the hands.

The cape proved very easy. I had one left over from using a Justice League Adventures black and white Superman, so it just needed cutting down and repainting. I added some styrene sheet to raise it up at the back. I raided my Microman spares for a couple of hands, re-drilling the wrist on the Depth Charge figure so that it fit the 2mm plug, and cutting the forearms down to the rings closest to the elbow so that the arms did not seem too long.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with this figure.
