I am a relative newcomer to the character of Hellboy. Only got around to watching the movie a few weeks ago, but enjoyed it enough to start buying the graphic novels.

Decided I had to have a custom. I noticed that one or two others had used the Mezit arm, so I managed to snag one on ebay. I also wanted to use the Spy Troops Shipwreck figure because of the trousers and shoes, but I had to extend the torso to get the figure to look right. That torso is way too small for those legs. I cut off the right hand and added the Right Hand of Doom, and added some extended sleeves on both arms. I had a spare Endor Han Solo in the spares box, so it was a natural to use the trench coat. I had several spare cast Zartan heads and I figured that it would work nicely. It has come out with a slight cartoony look, but I am happy with that.
