Head: Shadow Viper V1
Rest: Duke (2000)

This is a head swap custom. Due to peer pressure or perhaps a refining of my tastes, I wanted a Beachhead that was more proportioned and less of a beach ball head.

The key to parts swapping is color matching. The skin color on the Stealth viper is a great match for the arms on the Duke. Because of the odd skin coloring of the Joes from that year, there aren't that many parts that you can swap in.

I can't really claim this one as my own, because he was purchased "as is" out of the now defunct Bountyhunter Toys $2 bin. It's the second best custom I've ever picked up out of there.

I'm posting this because it's a great looking figure, and shows that a great custom doesn't have to be a lot of effort.
