Sidewinder is a Range Viper who has an affinity for high velocity, high caliber & high rate of fire guns. He is often the first one to procure weapons in the field, as he is great at providing cover fire for raids for his fellow Range Vipers.

Unlike most of the other Range Vipers, he has no qualms about stealing his weapons from Cobra troops in the field, much to the annoyance of Cobra officers. Not to mention the fear from other Cobra troops, because he doesn't bother asking for the weapon. This seems to be a big problem because his favorite weapon appears to be the new standard issue of the S.A.W. Viper.
