I wanted to follow his original color scheme, but felt that he didn't have that "laboratory feel" to him. So I took a chance and followed a white and black scheme, one of the simplest paint jobs I've done. After applying the base coats, I took a second opinion and all that black and white started looking somewhat "between the lines". So upon completion I got bold and applied some traditional purple to his uniform. That made all difference. And as far as piece selection, the Hannibal coat captures that "mad scientist" look.
