Dr. X was introduced in the 1990's during the relaunch of the Action Man range as the new villain. Having done a 4 inch Action Man, I wanted an adversary to go with him, and Dr. X fits the bill nicely. He is a cross between a terrorist and the archetypal mad scientist/evil genius type. Just think of Dr. Evil, but competent and with a real bad attitude.

I decided to experiment a little with this figure. All of the sculpting was done using a fast setting two part epoxy putty of the type used to repair car bodywork.
