Cpt. Sobold is a captain who has had a distinguished service record and has led many successful missions. That's why he was chosen for G.I. Joe. Although what they didn't know is that while he's a good guy, deep down inside he is a coward. Most of the time he will rely on his CO's and NCO's to get the company anywhere. In a battle he pulled an injured Dial-tone into the Night Rhino. Many thought it was an act of heroism but he did so he could stay away from the battle and be safe. He is the kind of guy that dissapears during battle and re-appears hours later for the credit. Those few who know him for what he truly is say it's only a matter of time before he is discovered.
