I made a Duke custom some time ago, but wasn't happy with it. I wanted Duke to look like an updated version of the original/cartoon look. I got my final inspiration from the cover of issue #26 of the new comics. This would be the look I went for: the sleeves rolled halfway up the forearm, the textured upper chest to the shirt, and the bandolier. I added the grenade and orange to the shoulders to pay homage to the cartoon. I also liked the BTR Duke head that made him a little sharper-looking and less super hero than the Spytroops head I used on my first incarnation.
