I didn't like the Defense Mech Leatherneck at all. I thought the figure was great but as Leatherneck it just wasn't cutting it. The figure had none of the traits of Leatherneck and looked more like Hawk or Steeler.
I took alot of time in trying to come up with a custom design that was a homage to the original but also new and modern.
The more I looked at the torso of the Leatherneck figure the more I realized it could pass for a nice update to his original '86 look which was pretty awesomoe back then and still is to me.
