WULF
XF-31 CONQUEST II PILOT
File Name: Max Immelmann
Grade: 0-2
PMS: Fighter Pilot
SMS: Aeronautical Engineer

Wulf's father was an FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) licensed IA (Inspection Authorization) and maintained a shop specializing in J-3 Cub restoration at a small grass strip airfield (13N) in northern New Jersey. Because of this Wulf was exposed to aviation in great quantities from an early age. His childhood sweeping the shop for rides turned into working around the airport and in the shop in exchange for lessons. He started lessons at 13, soloed at 16, and got his license at 17 with a tremendous amount of hours in everything for J-3s to AT-6s. While grass-roots tail-dragger aviation was his passion he really wanted to make a living in aviation. Taking a lesson from his father's struggling business he realized he'd have to go beyond what the little nitch of aviation he loved to find an actual career. It was at this point that he turned to the Air force Academy for a degree in aeronautical engineering. It was clear to him during his schooling that he couldn't be confined to the ground, so he went on to earn his wings. While he was never at the top of his class, he came out top in flight school. After serving 2 years in active duty of the Air Force he was recruited by GI Joe when the Conquest II brought need for another fighter pilot in the team.
