I always like the blonde version of Cover Girl and wanted to give her a significant role in the new time-line.

After G.I.Joe was placed on hiatus, Cover Girl went back to New York in attempt to re-adjust herself back to civilian life. She decided to step away from the catwalks and runways and work as a fashion designer. Though she had the knowledge and the talent, she found herself doodling tank treads and rocket launchers. As the Joe team was re-instated, Cover Girl came back to the team initially as a armaments designer, one being the Patriot Grizzly Tank. She eventually tired of all the pencil-pushing and decided to take an active role in testing the Grizzly. As the Grizzly passed its final test, Cover Girl signed on as tank commander of the first Grizzly comissioned for duty.
