A former member of a New York S.W.A..T. team, he left after 9/11 to join the army. He served as a Ranger with an exemplary record and was recommended by his commanding officer when Hawk started looking for the newly reformed Joes. After serving his time as a Greenshirt, Ink was promoted and given his code-name. He was called Ink due to his custom of getting a new mark tattooed on after every successful mission.
