Bio: Blockade grew up watching friends getting hooked on and dieing from drugs in attempts to escape life's problems. Blockade, however, had his own way; he had a small boat and the Gulf. As he got older, and licenced to carry firearms, Blockade began to fight back against the thing that had taken many of those he had grown up with by raiding the boats of drug-runners before they could reach U.S. shores. And more often than not, Blockade succeeded and called in the Coast Guard simply to handle the boat and prisoners. It was on one of these self-directed raids that Blockade met Lt. Skip Stone, "Cutter" of the G.I. Joe team before it's disbandment who convinced him that he could do the same thing with more resources as part of the Coast Guard. After joining the Coast Guard, Blockade was quickly requested by Cutter to be part of his crew, a request the Joe repeated when the team was reformed in 2003.
