All Marauders Task Force Parts

Without much of an idea, I knew I wanted to create a Cobra dog-handler. A couple weeks ago, I happened to be watching a YouTube review video on the vintage S.A.W. Viper and the reviewer mentioned that Cobra troops had kind of moved away from the traditional blue uniforms in the later years and purple had become the de facto Cobra color. I remembered that when I started looking through my parts bin for this kitbash.

Okay, so there are a few items of note that keep this figure from being the run-of-the-mill Marauders kitbash. I wanted a more distinct helmet silhouette this time, so I took a leftover Riot helmet visor and glued it to a purple Tactical Helmet (not a big fan of the Tactical Helmet, but I knew I had one in purple and I figured what the hey). I also accidentally broke off a Bare Hand when I was doing another custom a few months ago. It was not a big deal as I have a ton of bare hands, but I kept the broken hand for whatever reason. I decided I would use it for this figure since the dog is meant to be a Cobra dog and therefore savage and murderous. I decided I would place the dog bone on the figure somewhere just to be goofy, but if you look closely you will notice that did not just glue the bone to the leg. Yep! I also keep any pegs that I slice off of pockets and pouches! You literally never know. So the bone is removable. And if you zoom in close to the figures face, you just may notice that I painted a small pink scar running down his right eyebrow and cheek. I gave the Dog Handler a MAC-10 just to resemble Mutt a bit.
