All Marauders Task Force Parts

This is a simple kitbash/LBC. Only the helmet design has been painted.

Freestyle confuses me.
She is an exclusive character from the 2013 G.I.Joe Convention, the theme of that year being "Night Force". Freestyle is an original character created by the G.I.Joe Collector's Club (with approval consent given by Hasbro) and is a fighter pilot that was supposed to pilot the Night Force version of the Skystriker jet. Pretty self-explanatory.

I attended the convention that year and it was my first foray into G.I.Joe conventions and exclusive figures. Before this, I had no idea that Convention figures were even a thing. I got the box set that year and a few other exclusives. I was a noob. I had no idea who Freestyle was supposed to be. Apparently, she is a big flippin' deal.

Really?

This is where my confusion comes in. I mean, she just looks like a fairly bland female pilot to me. She has a plain black vest, a plain green flight suit, and badly painted black flight helmet. Big whoop. But - jeez! - have you seen the price the commands on the secondary market?! It's obscene. I just don't get it.
I don't think she's a great figure. I almost passed her up at the convention, but she was packaged with Chuckles (I think) and I figured what the heck.

Anyway, the main reason I even made this kitbash is because I wanted to see what the painted helmet would look like. Not bad.
