Hot Seat is a vehicle driver. He drives the actually awesome Raider tank. They both came out in '89, long after I had stopped collection. If I had known about the Raider in 1989, I might have started collecting again. The Raider is a really cool vehicle.
Surprisingly, Hot Seat is really cool, too. I know that vehicle drivers usually get the short end of the stick when it comes to design, but Hot Seat is slick and understated. His vest is clean and proportionate. His helmet with the large mic and reticule over one eye is a great design. He does have orange pants, but heck, so do a ton of others. I also like the fact that Hot Seat has gray hair. He's an older dude, mature. In my opinion, the original figure is one of the more successful vehicle drivers of the ARAH line. My custom was fairly easy to put together because of the understated nature of the original.
