The '90s joes aren't my favorite by any stretch, but I understand that this series of Joes was kind of a return to form. I remember watching the DIC cartoon and being underwhelmed by the choice of leading characters, especially Bullhorn. He's basically a hostage negotiator.
As for the original figure, I do like his mold and choice of colors...not so much the face paint although I did replicate it on my custom. Fun fact: I tried to replicate the cartoon face paint instead of the figure face paint.
I painted the pants a darker leather-brown and hit the thigh panels with a light gray. I also painted the gaiters a camouflaged tan. Finished off with gray boots and was done.
