I'm not certain if the original Brazilian figure was supposed to be Cesspool or not, but it was a repaint. I don't know how "cesspool" would translate into Portuguese (or whichever language was used on the Brazilian packaging), so it might very well be that Cesspool is Poluicao. But here I'm approaching it as a different character.

Design/Colors & Paint:

The colors on the Brazilian Poluicao were different enough from the American Cesspool that I'm imagining it as a different character, based on the Brazilian color scheme. As a chemical weapons type, the Ace helmet provides completes the look of an airtight suit. The Neo Viper chest/back is a perfect starting point to translate the design to NS format. The parts also do away with the robot/armored look of the figure's right arm, but instead uses gold on both gloves.

The bald Gung Ho head provides a lean tapered look, much different from that of the iconic Cesspool head- and it also lacks the face-long scar. These elements, plus a darker skin tone, help establish Poluicao as a separate character. Painting the helmet to match the main uniform color is also different than the gold helmet of Cesspool.

The helmet is painted burgundy/black to reflect the colors of the boots. This balances the uniform colors, and further distinguishes Poluicao as its own character, as Cesspool's helmet was gold.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The hair, collar area, and midriff below the belt line are epoxy sculpted. The shoulder/elbow/knee pins are epoxy smoothed.
