Jem is the lead singer of the Holograms, but she and the Holograms are more than they seem. Jem is actually Jerrica Benton and the Holograms (her band) are her friends. Jem's earrings are connected to a powerful computer named Synergy that uses holographic technology to turn her and her friends in to the world wide phenom known as Jem and the Holograms.

Jem is another of the great 80s cartoons and was Hasbro's answer to Barbie.

Like many of my other 80s customs I wanted her to be included in the project of bringing all of the best characters of the 80s to modern 4 inch scale to match up with GI Joe.
