Gung-Ho is one of those great anchor characters that I like to stick into various assortments. The original version was cool, the '87 version wasn't one I had much use for as far as play goes, and I really dig the '92 and '93 versions. The purpose behind this version was to fit into my '86 assortment.
I never thought of Gung-ho having hair, but I also don't see any reason why he couldn't let his hair grow in a bit from time to time like any normal person.
I did try to recreate his anchor and eagle tattoo and just show the bits that wouldn't be covered up by the grenades...unfortunately in the photos it looks like blue splotches.
