For NJC # 85 (Dr. Bindy's Cantina) I decided to do a space version of JC member Bucky. But he needed a helmet. I had this funky SW bust up of 4LOM that I thought would be fun, so I made a normal version of Buck and then 'spaced' him. Somehwere along the way, I saw this online thing for a fake monster called 'Mansquito' - a human/insect hybrid, and decided that is exactly how bucky would be in space. I gave him the sword to represent his proboscis. My favorite part of this custom is the fact I tried to make iridescent eyes by painting multiple tamaya transparent colors over silver, copper and gold base colors. Oh, and the word "mosquito" is Spanish for "little fly."
