Cloudstrike was afraid of heights when he was a kid. Until his older brother pushed him over a cliff to bunjee jump. Cloudstrike enjoyed it and he made a second jump, then another. Since then, Cloudstrike loved free falling from the sky, so when the U.S. Navy SEAL visited his school and conducted a career talk; he had an idea which career to choose. He enlisted in HALO operations after graduation.

Cloudstrike quickly became part of G.I. Joe HALO assault team and their batch was trained by none other than Ripcord.. He became one of the best, showing fearlessness in combat and strong determination to destroy the enemy. Whether day or night, in any terrain or weather conditions, Cloudstrike will jump towards enemy territory to attack even before someone could yell "Geronimo!"
