Who is Doctor Faustus? Where does he come from? Only General Eisenkopf knows for sure and he won't tell Cobra Commander. Rumors are that he was an Axis scientist during WWII who was brought back through modern (and mystical) science to serve the General as his Chief Science and Medical Officer. All that is known is that the Major is "alive" as no more than a brain and nervous system encapsulated within a highly advanced bio-mechanical body.
