Entire Figure: 93 Duke

This original Duke figure was simply awesome. In a sea of neon and gimmicks, this figure went back to Joe's roots and gave us a classic looking basic military figure.

I had snagged a few of these figures both at Vintage Stock and in lots on ebay, and having them was a delight. I was well out of Joe in 93, so I was completely unaware of its existence until I was an adult.

When I decided to use my desert squad customs as a Delta Force squad led by Duke in his pre-GI Joe days, I needed a Duke to paint up in DCU camo to match the team. Using this figure was a no brainer, and he turned out great.
