Blitzwing came from a wealthy family. At the age of 8, she was a ballerina; by age 16, she was a champion gymnast! However, she began to tire of living a life of fame and prestige. She wanted to be free, to explore and live a more exciting life. Because of her family's influence, after graduation she was able to work at the United Nations as a liaison officer. She was exposed to different problems facing the U.N. As a result, she realized that what she wanted was to make a difference. Soon she joined the army and excelled in reconnaissance. With the assault glider issued to her, she can fly free as a bird and at the same time make a difference in a world full of troubles as a soldier.

Blitzwing is swift and flies her assault glider with precision. Because of her background in gymnastics, she's one of the most efficient glider pilots in the G.I. Joe ranks. She can dodge bullets in rapid motion, and then return fire without missing her target. And when she lands, she's as silent as a cat. The enemy would never know she's already in their territory acquiring tactical info.
