Gunny is the post event front line operations commander. With no leadership left in operation, soldiers of the country formerly known as the United States of America turn to veterans for their marching orders. In these chaotic times the bold and outspoken take the reigns.No one is sure who was behind the event and there isn't any time to stand idle and think about it. The capital along with most major cities across the continental U.S. (North America, the world?) are gone. Blown to kingdom come! Now you can tuck tail and run, or you can take this rifle and go do what needs doin'! oorah! If boots hit the ground I want Gunny in charge.

The Joes are still in operation, although cut off from headquarters. With little to no communication there is only the tasks directly in front of them. Gunny embraces the Joes and does everything in his power to help them. There is no time to feel like an old man, is one of his mantras as the hardships of the post apocalypse wears at the will of all the men, young and old.

There is no time for die'n. If there are no enemies to be shot, there are surely graves to be dug, graves to be filled..........

Strait laced and hard as nails Gunny doesn't mince words and there aren't many quotes that I could record here! I have been a fan since I first saw Full Metal Jacket as a kid. I watched mail call every week every season.Overall I just really like R. Lee Ermey. He reminds me of my grandfather and that is something we should all be reminded of. However hard they might have been, the greatest generation deserves our respect.
